Enter the Pet & Owner Costume Contests!

The Pet & Owner Costume Contest is the original premise and the heart of the La Grange Pet Parade, which started in 1947! Judging takes place before the parade next to Village Hall. Great prizes awarded!

Theme Announced!

Did you know that 2026 will be the 80th La Grange Pet Parade?! We are planning some exciting things to celebrate, including the creation of a mascot! We will be “Marching Through the Decades” on May 30th.

Contest Winner

Each year the Coloring Contest determines the Junior Grand Marshal. This year the winning coloring page was submitted by Alexander Noland, a third grader from Cossitt Elementary. Watch for him in the parade, riding in a convertible!

Registration Closed

Registration is closed for Non-Profit Groups (free registration), Business Sponsors (payment required), and Entertainment Acts (requesting payment) due to high demand this year.

Watch past parades on YouTube!

Did you know that Lyons Township High School’s LTTV takes video of the parade each year and features them on a YouTube channel?! You can take a stroll down memory lane and watch all the old parades HERE.

HELP US KEEP THE PARADE GOING!

Most people don’t realize that the parade, on average, costs up to $100,000 per year. The parade attracts thousands of spectators and participants each year.” ~ Susan Breen
